Qantas Pathfinders Charity Flight 2025 – Toowoomba featuring the Carnival of Flowers
Join us for our much-loved privately chartered Qantas Pathfinders Charity Flight and help raise vital funds to support NextSense’s life-changing work for children with hearing and vision loss. This year’s destination – the stunning Garden City of Toowoomba, where we’ll enjoy a special preview of Australia’s longest running floral event—the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers.
Carnival of Flowers
Arriving a week ahead of the official opening, be one of the first to soak up the beauty of vibrant garden displays at key sites Queens Park Botanic Gardens and Laurel Bank Park, last year visited by more than 470,000 visitors. You’ll marvel at the beauty of custom made floral creations – what surprises will the curators have in store for us this year?
Explore and discover
You’ll have a chance to immerse yourself in Australian history at the Cobb+Co Museum or sample delicious local produce at the charming growers’ markets, all set against Toowoomba’s rich heritage architecture.
Dining in style
A mouth watering experience awaits at beautiful Aberfeldy Barn, one of Toowoomba’s favourite event venues, where you’ll relax over a delicious lunch paired with award winning Josef Chromy, Chapel Hill and Krondorf wines in stunning rural surrounds.
We’re excited to be joined by a very special guest – horticulturist and beloved broadcaster Sandra Ross, Director of The Garden Clinic and Ross Tours. With a career spanning more than 40 years, who better to share a sneak preview of the beautiful floral displays!
Everyone’s favourite host, Qantas Pathfinders Ambassador Simon Marnie will be back to entertain and delight us all. Simon is an Australian radio and TV personality having presented the Weekend Mornings program on ABC Radio Sydney and ABC NSW and co-presented ABC TV’s Escape From The City.
With a full day of sightseeing, laughter, food and surprises, Captain Jason Fraser, CSM Norrie Constantian and their team will ensure you have a great day from takeoff until we land back in Sydney around 8.30pm. Brunch and supper will be served onboard.
